Pictures of and Writings About Antique Izannah Walker Dolls
Tuesday, January 1, 2008
This is a new venture on the first day of the first year for me, Dixie Redmond. I hope to put links here to all the Izannah sites out there - pictures and writings - for dollmakers and Izannah lovers everywhere. Happy New Year, Izannah!
Dixie- I'm right with everyone else in thanking you for starting this blog. I can't wait to see what info you have to share about these amazing dolls and their inventive, original, inspired maker. I so enjoyed the detailed photos you posted to the Vintage Cloth Dollmakers group of the original Izannah you were allowed to handle and photgraph. What made those photos so great were that were taken from a dollmakers perspective. Very different from what a collector would want to see. You know what we dollmakers want! I hope you can post those photos here sometime and discuss them in detail. Anyway, thanks again for the blog. Best to you- Angie in WA
